[action]
[It's been a few days since the storm... and despite the major cleanup efforts, things still look about as bad as it left it. Ayumu's getting tired of seeing crushed houses and toppled lamp-posts, not to mention the inconvenience of broken buildings in the square. It's hard to get groceries when there's debris everywhere.
And so, in the middle of the night, a good Samaritan strikes. Nighttime is important because of what this person happens to be wearing. He's cloaked and hooded, but it doesn't do much good because each time he stops - beside a crumbled wall, or a smashed window - he raises the pink chainsaw in his hands, chants a series of indecipherable symbols, and begins to work magic. A light envelops him and blows the cloak aside, revealing a frilly pink miniskirt and hair bows. He doesn't stay very long at each house, but there's enough noise that a sleeping resident or night-time stroller might notice before he flies off.
He really hopes you won't, even if it's inevitable.
ooc: So, Ayumu can use magic to fix your house or yard, or so on. IC encounters would be great, but if you'd like a character to have had their house fixed and discover it later that's fine too. He'll be all over the village, but obviously can't fix everything that's wrong because... well, there's a lot (and it's also dark.)]

However, when Ayumu steps up to the house Sabriel's Death sense shakes her awake. Followed by the sound of...something outside, Sabriel takes up her bell bandolier as she steps up to the window...and can not believe what she's seeing. There are only a handful of Dead people in Luceti that Sabriel is aware of and only one whose hair colour is that mousey grey...she can only assume it's Ayumu in that pink...frilly...thing.
Opening up her window she's mindful to keep her voice low as she calls down to him, uncertain and more than a little confused.]
...Ayumu?

Grabbing the cloak, which is currently still billowing, he pulls it around himself again. He tries to make his voice sound more imposing.]

[Yep. Situation totally salvaged.]

[With a sigh Sabriel runs a hand through her hair, carefully setting her bells back down before leaning against the window pane. Cloaked or uncloaked he was still Ayumu.]
Ayumu, what are you doing here?
no subject
just. play it cool now, Cloaked Ayumu.]
I'm trying to fix some of the damage from that storm.

[
No cool for you Ayumubut really, you can't just run around in the middle of the night dressed like that without inspiring a lot of questions.]no subject

...He looks even more ridiculous up close. She can't help but smile.]
Is the dress a requirement for you to fix things?
no subject
[sigh, he's going to have to explain this to keep even a scrap of his manliness intact.] I'm a zombie... and a magikewl girl. It's a long story.

[He will need a pretty good excuse to be wearing that much frill and lace before Sabriel stops laughing at the absurdity of it all. Seriously. Sabriel herself has never worn anything so overly girly.
In retrospect this is the first time she's had a good laugh since she arrived at Luceti. Over three months. It was nice, despite all of the hardship that has happened lately.]

So... I can only use magic if I transform, and the dress is part of the transformation. They never really meant for a guy to have this job.
no subject
I didn't know you were a magic user. For obvious reasons I suppose. [Snort.]
no subject
It would be nice if he could actually believe that.]
no subject
So. How does your magic work?
no subject
It's... complicated. But basically, it's magic words, and imagination. [...] And looking cute.
no subject
[That earns a soft snort from her but she manages to contain her laughter this time around.]
But words and imagination...I can relate to that a little.
no subject
...You can?
no subject
In a way. The magic I prefer to use in my work is made up of marks, like words. You need to picture the mark in your mind and draw the mark or speak it in order to cast a spell.

[Since he was planning to do it anyway... why not an audience?] Stand back a little.
[He lifts the chainsaw, beginning to concentrate again. The air around him begins to glow and sparkle.]

That's not bad at all.

[not looking pleased with himself for the bit of praise at all.]
